When in Malta…

You’re always a few minutes away from your destination

Our school is based right on the Sliema front, next to two bus stops; 5 minutes away from the St. Julians and Sliema Ferries Bus terminals which can take you to virtually anywhere on the Island!

The St. Julians bus terminus offers routes to all Northern attractions such as The Splash and Fun Waterpark (Bahar ic-Caghaq), Bugibba, Ghadira Bay (Mellieha) and the Gozo Ferry Terminal.

From Sliema Ferries, you can catch busses to World Heritage sites such as Ghar Dalam, Hal Saflieni and Mnajdra Temples; the villages of Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga, the Island’s best kept secrets; as well as the capital city Valletta.

Thanks to Malta’s size, you’re can travel to anywhere in less than an hour.

You’re always bound to speak English

English is an official language in Malta – this means that all locals are native speakers of the language. Moreover, over one million foreigners visit the island every year; at least 6% of these foreigners visit to study English.

There’s never a dull day

Malta enjoys around 3,000 hours of sunshine, an average of 5 hours per day in December and 12 hours per day in June; one of the highest results in Europe.

The sunny weather offers the ideal conditions for one to visit the Island’s top world heritage sites; take a trip to Malta’s sister Island, Gozo; or try out new activities such as horse riding or diving.

You’re always likely to find something to do in the evenings.

Apart from a variety of attractions to visit throughout the day, Malta offers a vibrant nightlife ranging from restaurants to nightclubs.

Paceville, the Island’s nightlife hub which is just 15 minutes away from our accommodation, offers anything one can imagine – with over 40 nightclubs, cinema, bowling alley, home to two shopping centres and a number of great restaurants, you’re bound to keep yourself entertained.

It’s time to learn English…

If you have visited Malta before, you can vouch for all of the above points, however, if you haven’t yet, book your trip to Malta with Linguatime, they will look after your course, accommodation & transfers. We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
